What happened
During an arrival at Kish Island Airport, an aircraft experienced a high-impact landing. The force of the touchdown was severe enough that the aircraft sustained extensive damage. Following the incident, the airframe was assessed and determined to be a total loss, as it was considered beyond economical repair.
Despite the severity of the landing, there were no casualties reported. All 158 people on board the aircraft successfully evacuated the plane without sustaining any injuries.
Findings
At this time, the specific reasons for the heavy landing remain undetermined. Investigators have not yet identified the precise mechanical or operational factors that led to the hard touchdown at the Kish Island facility.
