What happened
Following departure from Uchiza Airport, the aircraft encountered mechanical difficulties during its initial climb. The pilot notified air traffic control regarding engine malfunctions and subsequently initiated a return to the airport.
During the approach phase, the pilot determined that a standard landing was no longer feasible due to a rapid decline in visibility and weather conditions. To avoid a more critical situation, the decision was made to perform an emergency landing alongside the Huallaga River. Upon making contact with the ground, the aircraft slid several dozen meters before coming to a halt in an inverted position.
Outcomes
- The aircraft sustained damage beyond repair.
- There were zero fatalities and zero injuries reported among the two occupants.
- The crew successfully evacuated the wreckage following the impact.
