What happened
During a scheduled flight traveling from Cologne-Bonn to Vienna, the aircraft was operating at cruising altitude when the pilot lost control of the plane. This loss of control resulted in the aircraft entering a steep dive. Before the impact, the pilot managed to transmit a short mayday distress signal, though no specific details regarding the nature of the emergency or the mechanical state of the aircraft were communicated.
