A twin-engine aircraft on a training flight with two pilots crashed in an open field near Neuhardenberg Airport after entering an uncontrolled descent in marginal weather, killing both occupants.

Incident Overview A twin-engine aircraft departed Strausberg Airport at 1100LT for a training flight carrying two pilots: one instructor and one pilot under supervision. The crew conducted touch-and-go maneuvers at Neuhardenberg Airport between 1112LT and 1125LT, then proceeded to Eberswalde-Finow Airfield for additional exercises. At 1148LT, the crew returned to Neuhardenberg, made an approach, and departed the circuit two minutes later. While cruising at 1,300 feet, the aircraft encountered marginal weather conditions with drizzle. The airplane entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in an open field located 7.9 km northwest of the airport. The aircraft disintegrated on impact, and both occupants were killed.
