What happened
On the date of the incident, a twin engine airplane departed from Besakoa Airfield, heading toward its destination of Moramba. During the initial climb phase, shortly after the aircraft left the runway, it crashed and subsequently burst into flames.
Following the impact, the emergency response resulted in the evacuation of the aircraft's occupants. The accident resulted in one fatality and four injuries. The injured individuals were transported to medical facilities in Antananarivo for treatment.
Findings
There are currently no specific findings regarding the technical or operational reasons for the crash, though the impact was followed by an immediate fire.
