What happened
A single-engine aircraft, operated by Skyone Moruya, departed from Moruya Airport to conduct a local skydiving excursion. The flight initially carried nine people, including the pilot and eight skydivers. Following the successful completion of the jump sequence, all eight passengers exited the aircraft.
While the pilot was performing a return flight to the airfield, the aircraft went down approximately 2 km north of the airport. The impact resulted in the total destruction of the plane and the death of the pilot.
