What happened
On a cargo mission departing from Pucallpa-Captain David Abensur Rengifo Airport at approximately 10:00 local time, a single-engine airplane was en route to Breu. The flight was operated with a crew of two pilots on board.
As the aircraft was performing its approach to Breu-Tipishsa Airport, it went down in a forested region situated roughly 4 km northwest of the destination. The exact circumstances surrounding the descent and subsequent impact remain undetermined.
Following the impact, emergency reports confirmed the casualties. The pilot in command sustained fatal injuries, while the copilot survived the accident with injuries.
