What happened
A cargo flight operating between Jayapura-Sentani Airport and Oksibil failed to reach its destination. During the transit, the twin-engine aircraft lost contact with air traffic control and disappeared from radar.
Search efforts focused on the region north of Oksibil, specifically targeting the mountainous terrain believed to be in the flight path. Despite these efforts, the wreckage was never found, leaving the exact location of the crash unknown.
