A charter flight operating between Coyhaique and Chile Chico ended in a fatal accident during its transit through the Aysén Region. While the twin engine airplane was approximately halfway through its journey, it struck the side of a mountain situated northwest of Las Horquetas. Search efforts located the wreckage on the slope of Cerro Aislado during the afternoon.
