Accident Overview
While taking off from a waterlogged and unpaved runway in Tigil, the crew decided to abort the takeoff as the aircraft was unable to reach a sufficient speed. Despite this situation, the crew attempted a second takeoff maneuver. During this second attempt, control was lost. The aircraft deviated to the left, veered off the runway, and struck an embankment before coming to rest in a ditch.
Occupants and Damage
All 11 occupants on board escaped uninjured. The aircraft sustained damage beyond repair.
