Crop Spraying Aircraft Crash in Bereke (UP-A0273)

Incident Overview and Context The aircraft was operating a crop spraying mission in the Bereke area, located northwest of Almaty. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was carrying two occupants: the pilot and a passenger who was a mechanic. ## Sequence of Events While flying at a low height, the engine began to vibrate and subsequently lost power. In response to the loss of power, the pilot attempted an emergency landing. During this attempt, the aircraft struck the ground and crashed, immediately bursting into flames. ## Casualties and Damage The pilot was killed in the crash. The mechanic, who was aboard as a passenger, sustained serious injuries. The aircraft was destroyed by the post-crash fire.
