What happened
During the eighth mission of the day, an agricultural aircraft was performing spraying operations over a forested region situated near Kurgan. While the aircraft was in flight, the engine experienced a failure. In response to the loss of power, the crew attempted to perform an emergency landing within a nearby pasture.
During the descent and landing attempt, the aircraft struck several telephone poles and a stone wall before coming to a rest. The impact caused the aircraft to be destroyed beyond repair. Of the two people on board, the copilot was able to exit the wreckage without any injuries, while the captain sustained slight injuries during the event.
