What happened
During an early morning agricultural operation, an aircraft was performing routine crop spraying using herbicides. While the pilot was executing the seventh low-altitude pass of the mission, the plane was flying at an altitude of approximately 20 to 40 meters. As the pilot attempted to initiate a left-hand turn, the aircraft lost altitude and struck the ground in an open field. The impact occurred at an estimated speed of 140 km/h, causing the plane to burst into flames.
Findings
- The aircraft was destroyed by the forces of the impact and a subsequent post-crash fire.
- There were two fatalities involving the pilot and one passenger.
