What happened
During a scheduled crop spraying mission, an aircraft was operating at a low altitude to complete its task. While the pilot-in-command was executing a sharp turning maneuver, the aircraft reached a bank angle of 50 degrees. During this turn, the aircraft entered a stall condition, leading to a loss of control.
The aircraft subsequently impacted a field. There were two occupants on board at the time of the accident, and both sustained injuries as a result of the crash.
Findings
- The accident occurred during the low-altitude phase of flight while performing agricultural spraying.
- The primary factor in the loss of control was an aerodynamic stall triggered by an aggressive banking maneuver.
