What happened
During a cargo operation departing from La Paragua, an engine failure occurred approximately eighteen minutes into the flight. The aircraft was en route to its destination in Canaima when the mechanical issue prompted the crew to begin an emergency descent.
While attempting to perform an emergency landing following the loss of power, the aircraft impacted the ground roughly 23 km northwest of Canaima. Although the impact resulted in the aircraft being destroyed, there were no fatalities among the occupants. Both members of the flight crew managed to exit the wreckage without any reported injuries.
