What happened
A flight departing from Vladikavkaz Airport for a skydiving excursion resulted in an accident during the transit between Mairamadag and Koban. The aircraft, a single-engine airplane, was transporting two pilots and 13 skydivers at the time of the incident.
During the flight, the crew encountered an unforeseen emergency that necessitated an unplanned descent. While attempting to perform an emergency landing, the aircraft struck trees and came to rest in a heavily forested region.
Following the impact, rescue operations were conducted to reach the site. All 15 occupants were successfully recovered from the wreckage. While the entire group was rescued, the incident resulted in several injuries, with some individuals sustaining serious harm.

The crash occurred when the crew attempted to manage an unexpected situation mid-flight, leading to the aircraft striking vegetation during the emergency descent.
