What happened
During a scheduled cargo operation traveling from La Rioja toward Buenos Aires, the crew experienced mechanical issues involving the engines. In response to these complications, the pilot initiated a diversion to Córdoba-Ambostros Taravella Airport.
As the aircraft type approached the runway for its final landing phase, both engines ceased functioning. The pilot attempted to perform an emergency landing, but the aircraft struck a field approximately 1,200 metres before reaching the threshold of the runway. Following the impact, the plane slid for several dozen metres across the terrain before coming to a complete stop in a grassy area. The impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair.
