Incident Overview
On 18 December 2021, at approximately 10:25 local time, a helicopter operated by Air Zermatt AG was involved in an accident at the Gebirgslandeplatz Alphubel (LSVF) in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. The aircraft, an Aerospatiale SA 315 B Lama registered as HB-XII, was performing a private flight under visual flight rules (VFR).
Flight Details
The flight originated from the Gebirgslandeplatz Unterrothorn (LSYU) and was destined for Alphubel. The helicopter carried one pilot and three passengers. No crew or passenger injuries were reported. Third parties were not affected.

Investigation
The Swiss Safety Investigation Board (SUST) opened an investigation. The preliminary report described the occurrence as a hard landing. No probable cause has been stated at this stage.
