Incident
On 21 April 2022 at 15:20 local time, a dangerous proximity (Airprox) occurred between two piston-engine aircraft over Lake Geneva, approximately 2 km south-southeast of La-Tour-de-Peilz (VD), Switzerland.
Aircraft Involved
Aircraft 1 was a SOCATA TB 10, registration HB-KAU, operated by Flugsportgruppe Grenchen. It was on a private Visual Flight Rules (VFR) flight from Grenchen Airport (LSZG) and returning to Grenchen. The flight crew consisted of one pilot and one passenger.
Aircraft 2 was a Robin DR 400/180 R, registration HB-KBK, privately owned and operated. It was on a private VFR flight from Gruyères Airfield (LSGT) and returning to Gruyères, with a single pilot on board.
