Incident
On June 26, 2021, at approximately 09:45 local time, a Hélicoptères Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter registered as HB-ZPU performed a precautionary landing outside a designated airfield near Lostallo, in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The landing was prompted by a technical problem. No damage to the helicopter or property occurred, and no injuries were sustained.

The helicopter was owned by MP Aviation SA of Lugano and operated by Air-Evolution Ltd of Lodrino. On board were an instructor and a student pilot. The flight was conducted under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) as a training mission. It had departed from and was destined for Lodrino Heliport (LSXR).
Investigation
The Swiss Transportation Safety Investigation Board (SISI) has opened an inquiry into the serious incident. A preliminary report was released on July 28, 2021, summarizing the provisional sequence of events. The investigation aims to determine the nature of the technical issue that led to the precautionary landing. As of the preliminary report, no probable cause has been stated.
