What happened
On June 26, 2021, at approximately 09:45 local time, a Hélicoptères Guimbal Cabri G2, registered HB-ZPU, was conducting a flight training mission near Lostallo, Switzerland. The flight, operated under Visual Flight Rules (VFR), departed from the Lodrino heliport (LSXR) with the intention of returning to the same location. During the flight, the aircraft encountered a technical problem, which necessitated an immediate precautionary landing in an area off the airfield.
