Incident
On 2 July 2025 at 07:57 local time (JST), a Pilatus PC-12/47E aircraft took off from Kitakyushu Airport (RJFR) in Japan. Shortly after departure, the crew of two pilots heard an abnormal noise from the engine and experienced a loss of power. The pilots declared an emergency and returned to the airport, landing at 07:58. No injuries were reported among the crew, and no passengers were on board. There was no damage to ground personnel or property, and the extent of damage to the aircraft was not disclosed.
