Safety history
- September 2, 1969Accident
While descending to Pakse Airport, the crew encountered very bad weather conditions and was instructed to hold as a landing was impossible. Few minutes later, the airplane crashed in unknown circumstances few km from the airfield, killing all 35 occupants, among them civilians.
- October 24, 1963Accident
The crew was engaged in a training sortie out from Aix-en-Provence Airbase. While cruising along the shore, the twin engine aircraft went out of control and crashed into the Mediterranean Sea off Saint-Pierre la Mer. The wreckage was found in a depth of five meters and all four crew members have been killed.
- December 19, 1942Accident
The combined difficulties of endeavoring to raise the undercarriage and maintain height and speed with a fully loaded aircraft during a night take-off under unfavorable flying conditions gave rise to an error of judgement in which the pilot allowed the aircraft to fly into the water.
