The pilot departed Cologne Airport on a solo executive flight to Ostend. While descending to the destination airport, he was positioning the aircraft into a tailwind for a visual approach when both engines stopped simultaneously.

The cause of the emergency landing was the nearly simultaneous failure of both engines due to a lack of fuel, resulting from a prolonged usage of the auxiliary fuel tanks.
