REPORTEDLY, HE LOST CONTROL WHEN THE ACFT WAS ABOUT 1 FT AGL & THE RIGHT MAIN WHEEL HIT A DITCH. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE ACFT WAS SPUN AROUND & WAS DAMAGED. THE PILOT ESTIMATED THAT THE WIND WAS GUSTING TO 35 KTS.
