Aeroflot signs contract for 90 more Yakovlev MS-21 aircraft
Aeroflot has agreed a deal with state corporation Rostec for 90 additional Yakovlev MS-21 jets, with deliveries planned between 2029 and 2032. The order brings the carrier's total MS-21 commitment to 108 aircraft.

Aeroflot has signed a contract with Rostec, the Russian state corporation, for 90 more Yakovlev MS-21 aircraft. Deliveries are expected between 2029 and 2032. United Aircraft Corporation, Aviacapital-Service and the engine manufacturer UEC are also party to the agreement.
The contract covers simulators, crew training and technical support as well as the aircraft. Service arrangements for the fleet are set to run for 22 years.
In total Aeroflot is to receive 108 Yakovlev MS-21s. Eighteen of those come from a contract concluded in 2023, scheduled for delivery in 2027 and 2028.
The MS-21 seats up to 211 passengers and is powered by Russian PD-14 engines.
