Air Montenegro sole bidder for six subsidised routes from Podgorica
Air Montenegro is the only carrier to bid in a tender for six state-subsidised international routes from Podgorica, worth €4.79 million. The transport ministry has yet to announce the result.
Air Montenegro is the only bidder for a tender covering six state-subsidised international routes from Podgorica, the portal See News reports. The contract, valued at €4.79 million, would run from June 2026 to May 2030 and link the city to Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Zagreb, Frankfurt and Bari.
The Montenegrin government declared the routes public service obligations in February, saying they are not commercially viable but matter for the country's connectivity. Aircraft on the services must offer at least 110 seats.
The transport ministry said it will publish the outcome after reviewing the offer.
