Turkish Airlines drops eleven destinations from its schedule permanently
Turkish Airlines has removed eleven previously suspended destinations from its flight plan for good, and pushed back the return of several others.
Turkish Airlines has removed eleven destinations from its schedule permanently, after they had already been suspended on a temporary basis.
The destinations affected are Juba, Kinshasa, Libreville, Luanda, Lusaka, Billund, Fergana, Kirkuk, Najaf and Turkistan, along with Leipzig/Halle. Restarts of these connections had previously been planned for winter 2026/27 or summer 2027, according to the Aero Routes portal.
The carrier has also pushed back its return to Aqaba and Havana to no earlier than the end of March 2027. Five destinations in Iran are likewise not expected back before 28 March 2027 at the earliest: Isfahan, Mashhad, Shiraz, Tabriz and Tehran.
Further changes to the schedule are possible, the report notes.
