Airbus has opened a delivery centre in Toulouse for A320neo-family aircraft. The site covers more than 35,000 square metres and has 16 aircraft positions, directly next to the final assembly lines.

It includes customer areas and a customs clearance zone. For the first time, there is also a hall for technical adjustments and finishing work before handover.

The company is preparing for rising production: monthly output of the A320neo family is to rise to between 70 and 75 aircraft by the end of 2027.

At the end of August, 7,577 aircraft were still awaiting delivery, including 5,691 A321neo and A321XLR jets.
