Korean Air finalises order for 103 Boeing aircraft worth $36.2bn
Korean Air has signed a firm contract for 103 Boeing jets, including 777-9s, 787-10s, 737 Max 10s and 777-8 freighters, first announced in August 2025. Engine deals with GE Aerospace and CFM add $8.6bn.

Korean Air has converted its previously announced Boeing commitment into a firm order covering 103 aircraft. The carrier said the deal is valued at $36.2bn, roughly €31.4bn.
The package comprises 20 Boeing 777-9s, 25 787-10s, 50 737 Max 10s and eight 777-8 freighters. The agreement had already been announced in August 2025, and has now been signed.
Alongside the airframes, Korean Air has concluded contracts with GE Aerospace and CFM International worth $8.6bn, about €7.5bn. Those cover 21 spare engines and a 15-year maintenance agreement for the engines powering 28 aircraft.
Taken together, the airline puts the total value of the commitments at $44.8bn, or around €38.8bn. According to the carrier, the incoming aircraft are intended to support growth following the integration of Asiana Airlines.
