Amazon Air Acquires A330-300 for Freighter Conversion
Amazon Air has taken delivery of a 2014 Airbus A330-300 previously operated by Philippine Airlines, which will be converted into a freighter.

Amazon Air is adding an Airbus A330-300 built in 2014 to its freighter fleet. The jet was previously operated by Philippine Airlines and has Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines. It left passenger service in April, according to Cargo Facts. On August 28, the aircraft was ferried to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, where it was spotted on August 31 outside the facilities of maintenance provider Starco. The A330 is meant to be converted into a freighter.
