APEX and Crystal Cabin Award Launch Joint Passenger Experience Prize
APEX and the Crystal Cabin Award have partnered on a new award for concepts connecting the aircraft cabin with the wider passenger journey. The first Seamless Journey award will be presented in Singapore in November 2026.
The Airline Passenger Experience Association and the Crystal Cabin Award have created a joint award for ideas and products that link the aircraft cabin to the rest of the passenger journey. The APEX/Crystal Cabin Award Seamless Journey is open for submissions from now until 30 September 2026.
The prize will be handed out on 19 November 2026 at APEX FTE EXPO 2026, which takes place in Singapore on 18-19 November. According to the organisers, the award marks the Crystal Cabin Award's first appearance in Asia.
The two organisations describe their partnership as complementary. The Crystal Cabin Award brings its evaluation process and international expert jury, while APEX brings its role as an airline and supplier association. The new prize sits alongside the existing Crystal Cabin Award and the APEX Innovation Awards, which recognise cabin innovation and passenger experience advances respectively.
