Arajet ranks second in Dominican Republic passenger traffic for September
Arajet carried 158,407 passengers to and from the Dominican Republic in September 2026, making it the country's second-largest carrier behind JetBlue, according to the civil aviation board.

Arajet carried 158,407 passengers to and from the Dominican Republic in September 2026, excluding connecting traffic. That put it second among carriers serving the country, according to the Junta de Aviación Civil. JetBlue led with 243,955 passengers.
The figure is up 62% from September 2025, when the airline carried 97,797 passengers. Including connecting passengers, Arajet said its own count for the month was 180,841.
Copa Airlines came next with 122,220 passengers, followed by American Airlines with 115,406, Delta Air Lines with 94,763 and United Airlines with 94,288. Those numbers placed the Dominican carrier ahead of the network and regional airlines connecting the country with North America and Latin America.
Arajet's September traffic was spread across several markets. The United States accounted for 43,021 passengers, Colombia 35,413 and Argentina 21,164. Mexico followed with 16,356, ahead of Puerto Rico.
