Avelo Airlines is adding four nonstop routes from McKinney National Airport and basing a third Boeing 737 there, taking its network from the North Texas airport to nine destinations.

Denver and Atlanta come first, starting later this winter. New Orleans and Nashville follow shortly after.
The airline said the expansion will create about 150 jobs at the airport, covering pilots, flight attendants, aircraft technicians and airport personnel.
