Avelo Airlines adds four routes from Dallas-McKinney, expanding to nine destinations

Avelo Airlines is adding four destinations from McKinney airport, north of Dallas. From December 16, Denver and Atlanta will each get four flights a week. New Orleans and Nashville follow a day later, at two flights a week each.

McKinney operations start on November 11 with Las Vegas and four Florida destinations. The additions bring Avelo's total there to nine destinations.

Avelo is basing a third Boeing 737-800 at McKinney to support the expansion. The aircraft has 184 seats. According to the airline, the expansion creates around 150 jobs.
