Qatar Airways to debut Qsuite Next Gen on A350-1000, not 777-9
Qatar Airways plans to bring its redesigned Qsuite Next Gen business class into service on the Airbus A350-1000 in the second half of 2026, after delays pushed the Boeing 777-9 it was originally designed for to 2027.

Qatar Airways plans to put its Qsuite Next Gen business class cabin on the Airbus A350-1000 in the second half of 2026, according to the airline's revised plan. The product was originally meant for the Boeing 777-9. Boeing's 777X programme has slipped again, and the 777-9 is now expected to be delivered in 2027.
Qatar adjusted the rollout so the redesigned cabin can enter service before the delayed Boeing aircraft arrive. No launch route or inaugural date has been announced. The second-half 2026 timing is a reported target, not a confirmed schedule.
