Avianca to Introduce Door-Equipped Business Class Suites on Boeing 787s

Avianca announced an upgrade to its Boeing 787 business class, with new Insignia suites that have fully flat beds and sliding doors for privacy. The changes will begin in 2027. The airline did not disclose details about the seat configuration.

Additional amenities include noise-cancelling headphones, pajamas, slippers, and new amenity kits. The catering will also be revised. In Bogotá, Avianca is introducing a dedicated Insignia check-in area and renovating its lounges. Around 850 flight attendants have already received specialized training for the business class service.
