Azul named official airline of Blumenau Oktoberfest
Brazilian carrier Azul will sponsor the 41st edition of the Blumenau Oktoberfest in 2026, promoting the event on board and flying international artists to Brazil.
Azul is now the official airline and sponsor of Oktoberfest in Blumenau, a first for the Brazilian carrier. The festival's 41st edition is set for 2026.
Azul will advertise the event on board its flights and handle transport for international artists coming to Brazil. Acts announced so far are Troglauer, VoxxClub, Die Kirchdorfer and Högl Fun Band.
In August the airline put Blumenau on the cover of its inflight magazine, with features on the city and the festival. Organisers say the partnership is meant to raise the festival's profile beyond its region and attract more visitors from elsewhere in Brazil.
