Bombardier opens business jet line maintenance station in Sydney

Bombardier has added a line maintenance station in Sydney for its Learjet, Challenger and Global business jet families, expanding its Asia-Pacific service network.

Bombardier has opened a line maintenance station in Sydney for business aircraft. The site adds to the company's existing location in Perth and its service centre in Melbourne.

Technicians at the station can carry out unscheduled maintenance, inspections and support for aircraft that have been grounded, work the industry refers to as aircraft on ground. A mobile team is also available for jobs away from the site. The station is approved for all of Bombardier's aircraft families: Learjet, Challenger and Global.

With Sydney, Bombardier's global network of line maintenance stations reaches eleven locations. The company said the move is part of building up its customer support in the Asia-Pacific region.

Its service centre in Singapore is also due to be expanded. According to the company, that facility is to become nearly twice as large from the second half of 2028.
