Condor adds ChatGPT app for flight search and trip ideas
Condor has released an app inside ChatGPT that lets travellers browse holiday ideas and look up flights. The airline says it is the first carrier in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to offer one.

Condor has released an application that runs inside ChatGPT, letting travellers look for trips and check flights without leaving a chat. The German airline said it is the first carrier in the DACH region, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to offer one.
The tool is open to users everywhere, including those on the free tier of ChatGPT, and handles two kinds of requests: broad holiday suggestions and searches for a particular flight. It draws on airline data to show the carrier's route network on a map, along with flight information and the travel classes on sale. Travellers can also weigh fares between destinations and between different travel dates.
Displayed prices follow the user's market and currency settings, according to the airline. Bookings themselves are not completed inside the app; travellers finish the transaction on Condor's own website.
Alexander Mai, who heads e-commerce at Condor, said the app is meant to help passengers from the first stage of planning, including people who have not settled on where they want to go.
The launch sits within the airline's broader work on AI tools, which covers both customer-facing products and its internal processes.
