Contour to begin Muscle Shoals–Dallas/Fort Worth service in November

Contour will start five-weekly nonstop flights between Northwest Alabama Regional Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth on Nov. 12, moving capacity from its existing Charlotte service.

Contour will add a nonstop route between northwest Alabama and North Texas starting Nov. 12, connecting Northwest Alabama Regional Airport in Muscle Shoals with Dallas/Fort Worth.

The regional carrier said it is moving five weekly flights off its current Muscle Shoals–Charlotte, North Carolina, route to operate the new service.

Shoals-area travelers will keep a daily nonstop option to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, according to the carrier, and gain nonstop access to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Schedules differ by direction. Muscle Shoals to DFW flights will run Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The return leg from Dallas to Muscle Shoals will operate Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Contour is an independent regional airline. Its only current service out of Muscle Shoals is to Charlotte.
