Delta to end JFK–Dallas/Fort Worth and Seattle–Philadelphia routes
Delta Air Lines is cutting two routes in its latest schedule update, citing customer demand. Service between New York-JFK and Dallas/Fort Worth ends in January 2027, and a seasonal Seattle–Philadelphia link will not return that year.
Delta Air Lines is dropping two routes from its network in its latest schedule adjustment, which the carrier says reflects customer demand.
Service between New York-JFK and Dallas/Fort Worth will be suspended from Jan. 4, 2027. The seasonal Seattle–Philadelphia route will run once daily through Nov. 30, 2026, and will not resume in 2027. Both changes were filed into Delta's schedule on Sept. 19.
A Delta spokesperson said the JFK–Dallas/Fort Worth suspension is part of ongoing adjustments intended to keep the schedule aligned with customer demand. The market will still be served by five daily flights between LaGuardia and Dallas/Fort Worth.
In Seattle, Delta said it will keep serving the market's top 20 destinations. The airline also plans to start service between Los Angeles and Philadelphia in 2027.
