DHL Global Forwarding is adding six air freight corridors for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments, linking Europe and North America with major pharma locations in Asia.

The new lanes are Liege–Shanghai, Brussels–Shanghai, Brussels–Singapore, Cincinnati–Singapore, Cincinnati–Tokyo Narita and Cincinnati–Seoul Incheon. They join a Brussels–Cincinnati link the company said was established at the start of 2026.

Most of the freight will move on DHL's own Boeing 777 freighters, which have three holds that can be kept at different temperatures. The arrangement is meant to cut handovers between service providers and lower the risk of temperature deviations.

DHL is also investing in cold-chain infrastructure. A logistics centre with direct apron access is planned in Singapore, and temperature-controlled storage capacity in Indianapolis is being enlarged.
