Discover Airlines to launch first UK routes in summer 2027
Lufthansa Group leisure carrier Discover Airlines plans new A320 services from Frankfurt to Bristol, Glasgow and Inverness, plus a Munich-Glasgow link, starting summer 2027.

Discover Airlines, the leisure carrier within the Lufthansa Group, plans to start flying to the United Kingdom for the first time in summer 2027. According to the airline, new Airbus A320 services will connect Frankfurt with Bristol, Glasgow and Inverness.
The carrier said it would be the only airline flying nonstop from Frankfurt to all three of those British cities. A fourth route will also start under Discover Airlines' operation, linking Munich with Glasgow.
That Munich-Glasgow route was previously flown by mainline carrier Lufthansa. Its transfer marks a shift of the service to the group's leisure-focused subsidiary. Discover Airlines has built its network mainly around holiday and leisure demand since launching, and the new UK routes extend that strategy northward into Scotland and southwest England.
The announcement did not include further schedule or fare details. The routes are still more than a year away from entering service, giving the airline time to finalize frequencies and aircraft deployment ahead of the summer 2027 season.
