Edelweiss to debut revamped A350 cabin in June 2027

Edelweiss will bring its new Airbus A350 cabin into service from the start of June 2027, beginning with Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, Windhoek and Halifax. The airline says those routes can be booked now. All six of its A350s should be converted by the beginning of October.

Economy seat pitch grows by about three centimetres. Premium economy has 28 seats in a 2-3-2 layout, with roughly one metre of pitch. Business class keeps its 1-2-1 arrangement, so every passenger gets direct aisle access and a fully flat bed. Four business suites add doors and 32-inch screens.

Premium seating rises from 30 to 60. Free high-speed internet through Starlink, 4K screens and Bluetooth audio are being added across all cabins.
