Edinburgh Airport appoints Mark Johnston as new chief executive
Edinburgh Airport has named Mark Johnston, currently chief operating officer at London Gatwick, as its new head. He takes over on 1 October, succeeding Gordon Dewar.

The airport is preparing its largest investment programme to date, though the announcement gave no details of what it will involve.
No successor has yet been named for Johnston at Gatwick.
