Aberdeen airport sets out next phase of retail and dining revamp
Aberdeen International Airport has outlined the next stage of its ABZ Reimagined programme, a £2.5m upgrade that will combine two post-security shops and expand food and drink space before summer 2027.
Aberdeen International Airport has set out the next phase of its ABZ Reimagined programme, a £2.5m (US$3.35m) investment to enlarge its retail and food and beverage areas ahead of summer 2027.
The main element is a plan to combine the airport's post-security WHSmith and InMotion shops into a single larger unit, which the airport says will free up additional retail space. Restaurant space will also grow to provide more seating, and the airport intends to improve its coffee offer.
Work is due to move ahead over the coming months. The improvements will be rolled out in phases rather than delivered at once.
