Epic Flight Academy Adds Tecnam P2006T Twins to Fleet

Epic Flight Academy has bought two Tecnam P2006T twin-engine aircraft for its multiengine training program. The academy is the largest Part 141 flight school in the United States, with nine locations from Florida to Colorado, about 100 flight instructors, and 600 students. The new aircraft will increase multiengine training capacity.

The Tecnam P2006T has a glass cockpit, and the type is known for fuel efficiency and lower operating costs compared to other light training twins. School officials say it appeals to international students aiming for airline careers.

Chief operations officer Josh Rawlins said the academy continually seeks ways to make training more affordable while maintaining a modern fleet. Chief sales officer Walter Da Costa said the cost savings support high-quality education without undue financial burden on students.
