Euroatlantic Airways has taken delivery of an Airbus A330-300, the first time the type has flown in the Portuguese carrier's fleet. Built in 2011, the aircraft is registered CS-TGI and carries serial number 1229.

It is configured for 290 passengers across three cabins: 27 in business class, 16 in premium economy and 247 in economy. Seatback screens with an entertainment system are fitted throughout, according to the airline.

The addition brings Euroatlantic's long-haul fleet to include Boeing 767 and 777 aircraft, an existing Airbus A330-200, and now the new A330-300. The carrier's business is built mainly around charter and wet-lease flying rather than scheduled passenger routes.

No details were given on where the aircraft will be deployed or where it flew before joining Euroatlantic.
