Eurowings flight from Düsseldorf to Tel Aviv diverts to Larnaca
A Eurowings Airbus A320 carrying 156 passengers landed unexpectedly in Larnaca on Tuesday after a technical warning related to one of its engines, the airline said.

A Eurowings flight from Düsseldorf to Tel Aviv diverted to Larnaca in Cyprus on Tuesday morning, the airline confirmed. The Airbus A320 was carrying 156 passengers when it landed outside its scheduled destination.
A Eurowings spokesperson said the diversion followed an uncritical technical warning connected to one of the aircraft's two engines. More maintenance capacity was available in Larnaca, the airline said, which is why the decision to land there was made.
The spokesperson stated there was no danger to passengers or crew at any point. The aircraft, registered 9H-EUX, resumed its journey to Tel Aviv at midday.
