Falcon 50 overruns Las Vegas runway after aborted takeoff, hits fence
A Dassault Falcon 50 carrying actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg and seven others went off the end of a runway at Harry Reid International Airport after its crew aborted takeoff, striking a perimeter fence. No one was injured, but the airport briefly halted arrivals.

A Dassault Falcon 50 carrying actor and singer Donnie Wahlberg and seven other people overran a runway at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Sunday after its crew aborted takeoff, according to airport officials and Wahlberg.
The airport said in a statement that the jet left runway 1L and struck a perimeter fence at about 11 a.m. No injuries were reported. The aircraft was headed for Toronto Pearson International Airport when the takeoff was abandoned. Officials have not said what caused the crew to abort.
In an Instagram video posted after the incident, Wahlberg said the aircraft never got airborne and ran out of runway. Members of his team were also on board, he confirmed. He credited the pilots with preventing a worse outcome, and said the jet avoided trucks and heavy equipment near the runway before hitting the fence.
Runways 1L and 1R were closed for inspection, and the FAA temporarily stopped arriving traffic. According to FOX5 Las Vegas, arrivals saw average delays of roughly 70 minutes before the ground stop was lifted and both runways reopened.
